I have 3 children and all they talk about is Smileez Smileez Smileez. All of the staff are friendly and i find that you can go there and chill out you dont have to stress about someone letting them out or getting hurt also the equipment is very easy to see from where ever you are sitting

We just had lunch at Smileez so the kids had something fun to do on a rainy day and I have to say it was appalling. I didn’t expect high cusine, but the garden salad with chicken looked like something that would have been served in the 70s complete with Aussie cucumber rings around the perimeter of the bowl, under-ripe tomato, unwashed iceberg lettuce and supermarket dressing. The chicken was insipid, white and luke warm with no herb or spice in sight. The nachos were drowning in the worst sauce – seriously people TASTE your food before you make it a menu item. The mini hot-dog (kids meal) was a pathetic tiny round bread roll with a cheerio in it. The best thing was the cheese sandwich also part of a kids meal.Whilst the play equipment is fine, definitely avoid meal times. Stick to coffee and a cookie. There is no free water station, unlike the nearest play centre in Southport. There is no wi-fi unlike both of the other nearby play centres.PS – having had parties for both my kids here, I have to agree that the teen party hosts are sloppy and apathetic at best – they need constant supervision by you as the parent host. The kids still love it though!

I also was extremely disappointed with the Smileez birthday party. The host did not show up until 40 minutes after the party was meant to start. This left 50 minutes for 2 games, food and cake to be served. Because she was late I had to serve the kids their snacks and drinks as the kids were starving by this point. Totally agree with above. The host was a grumpy teenager and she did not introduce each part of the party. I complained to the teen about the delay in starting the party and she said we could not go over time to make up for it! Once the kids ate their main meal there was such a delay in playing the games (pass the parcel and pin the tail) that most of the kids had run off and did not participate in the games. There was no continuity whatsoever. Once the cake was served, the grumpy teen literally dumped the cake into bowls. It looked like slop and was all over the side of the bowls. I was furious by this point and approached the Smileez owner. I started to tell her about my complains but she cut me off and said that the teen was the ‘best they have’. I later left her my email so she could get some feedback .. she has not emailed me. Obviously she does not care at all about her customers. In summary, I would not have a party at Smileez. Complete waste of money.

Great friendly, clean venue without children going overboard silly to cause harm. We visit often with our kiddies and find the staff friendly, the service good and the food always served appropriately. Our girls love it, and it gives us a chance to have a coffee and chat.

I had my Sons 6th Bday PARTY There in Feb 2011 and was very Dissappointed. A teenger was taking care of my pirate chosen themed party and she kept looking at her watch hoping it would end soon. She din’t introduce each part of the party, I had to step in when she put the cake down and din’t even introduce it was cake time, she looked grumpy and unhappy doing it. I would say its okay to take your kids to play there but not for bday partys, try Abrakidazzle in Southport.
