Where are we going today?
Peel Zoo is home to 100 species of animal and bird and have a unique hands on approach to the majority of their creatures, facilitating and encouraging direct contact.
They also boast an unusual Tasmanian Devil exhibit and and a huge walk through aviary.
Nocturnal Tours may also be taken which expose a different side of the residents.

Need a little extra help?
The tracks through Peel Zoo are all paved. In other words, they are wheel chair and walking frame friendly. What's more, the Zoo is compact and dense with exhibits, so it's very easy to see a lot, in a short space of time..

Always have a good laugh here, its a great zoo that you can hand feed most of the animals. The alpacas are really funny and the walk in bird avairy is great though a couple of the cockateels did bite. Loved the big black cockatoo, he sat on my shoulder and wouldnt get off!
There are BBQ facilities next door which we didnt know about, next time!

Great time here, I GOT TO SEE TASMANIAN DEVILS!!! Lol. That alone was worth the trip. The kangaroos, birds, I was able to handle snakes too :)

Awesome hands on zoo,so much to see and do especially if you get there early for feeding time.Satff are willing to interact which is great for getting up even closer to some of the animals and birds.Great day had by all!!

I had an amazing experience here, saw peacock, dingo, feed kangaroo, carry snakes over body, played with parrots etc....it was so much fun.
