Where are we going today?
Who loves art!? You do!? So does the Maitland Regional Art Gallery, which is a great series of exhibitions showcasing the best range of historical collections, interpretive exhibitions, as well as fantastic art exhibitions.
Regional history is the focus here, so you can be sure to really immerse yourself in the Australian culture.
The fascinating exhibitions change every 6-8 weeks so there is always a reason to keep coming back, and each exhibition will feature such unique and diverse art installations.
There is a great exhibition and project space called Art Factory perfect for children and families. Here, the kids can engage in the interactive installations, as well as student groups that want to come down and be involved in school programs.
For those kids that really take a shine to art, there are kids classes available (at a small cost) where they can really shine, create and learn. They accommodate all ages and there are set classed for different age groups so everyone can advance at the right pace. There are even all age family classes so the whole family can join in together, and great events that occur over the school holidays so you will never be stuck for something to entertain the kids with during their time off.
How much does it cost?

The Seraphine Cafe is a beautiful spot to grab a bite to eat during your time at the museum. They serve breakfast with a variety of egg options, and lunch with gorgeous lambs, fish and salad options. They also have a selection of really tasty treats!.
There are plenty at the Seraphine Cafe. For breakfast you can opt for the healthy 5 grain porridge, or for lunch there is a beautiful salad option, but most of their food is quite healthy regardless. .
Can I get one of those?
