Where are we going today?

Start those engines! Are you ready to take control and feel the wind in your hair as you make your way around a challenging and fun karting track? Perhaps you can hear the sounds of the crowds cheering as you take on those hair pin bends?

Le Mans Go-Karts is Victoria's LARGEST Go-Kart complex - how cool is that!? You can be one of the 50 karts across the 4 challenging tracks, and don't worry if you think you're too young to participate. They have the Daytona track which is specially designed for those future F1 champions aged 4 - 8, and they have the Rimo Track for those aged 8 - 11, so kids will feel safe in their age appropriate environments.

Every ride will give those little kids the opportunity to experience what it's like to tackle the tracks in a controlled and safe setting. (Make sure you ring and check if there are spots available on the Daytona track before you go!

The outdoor tracks are fully floodlit which means they are open until late, so you can enjoy a full day (and night!) of racing!

The tracks at Le Mans Go-Karts span across 23 acres of Australian land, which also gives the tracks enough space to really make sure you get the best straights, turns, corners and sweepers where you can really feel the G-Force!

All of the tracks are also supervised by experienced attendants, so you can be sure safety is their number one priority. They also provide helmets, and make sure that all the rules and procedures are relayed before anyone steps out to begin.

Every driver gets a print out of their lap times, so you can really see who is the fastest in the family!

If that wasn't enough, Le Mans Go-Karts also offer Laser Tag for the over 6's where they can enjoy fast paced, bruise-less high-tech fun where they can zap opponents and base stations to try and complete their mission!

Endless fun!

When can we go?

10am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday; 10am to 11:30pm Friday and Saturday.

7 days a week. Only shut Christmas Day.

I'm Hungry!

Le Mans Cafe open 10am to 11pm, and serves tasty foods to refuel on!.

Any Top Tips?

Laser Tag is played in a darkened environment, but it is not pitch black! The arena is well lit with blacklights which causes the abundant use of fluorescent paints and materials in the arena to glow brightly. That said it can be scary so going in with them the first time is recommended..

More information

Birthday parties are of course more than welcome at the track, and a great way for kids to race against their friends before getting into the celebrations! .

Looks Flash from outside, but the Go Kart driving experience is ordinary at best.

A friend and I go Karting regularly. every few months on average. So have lots of different track experience.

We had an absolute blast at Le Mans Go Karts in Melbourne! A group of a dozen of us made a booking for a bucks event, and we all really enjoyed it. The Go Karts went nicely (although some seem faster than others), and were reliable, and went really well out on the track. The only thing that could be improved is the communication during the day (e.g. telling people how long till we'll be racing, and once we've finished one race, how long our break will be before the next race etc). Highly recommended.

Paid for a 40 min session with two people that I support.

    First session was 15 min
    Second session was 15 min

A little disappointed that it wasn't the full 40min.

Also some of the other drivers were dangerous in not following the rules. Yellow light means caution and not to drive at a million miles an hour.

The drivers breaking the rules should be banned or they are made to finish early....

Looks Flash from outside, but the Go Kart driving experience is ordinary at best.

A friend and I go Karting regularly. every few months on average. So have lots of different track experience.

Thought we would try here for something different and a choice of two tracks.. So I rang to make a booking for a friend and I on Friday.. "No Need" I was told by the staff on the phone. "just be here before 5.30 and you'll be fine."

So we Arrive at 3.30 Friday afternoon intending to have 3 or 4 races on the different tracks. Two of them are kiddy only tracks, and "Sorry, the other track is booked, you can't get on there today". Great. no booking needed huh ?

The remaining track has about 3 people on it, and now I know why.

Its as Bumpy as, Horrible jolts on corner Apex's, Turns that provide almost no overtaking opportunities, and the Karts are heavy, slow accelerating (they *Eventually get up some speed on the only short straight) terribly bad handling, steel bars welded all over them monstrosities that drive like 1920's trucks.

After our first session finishes, we are told "Sorry, you have to take your 2nd session straight away, or wait 2 hours, there's a group booking arriving". Great, so battered from the first ride, we go for our 2nd ride straight away, but halfway through, decide that this track is just too rough to be bothered with, especially 2 rides in a row with no break. So we both call it quits and depart never to return.

Maybe the LaserTag and other facilities are OK, we didn't try them, but the Karts and Track are C Grade at best. Much better driving to be had elsewhere.
