Directions

If you are coming from the north, follow the F6 through Wollongong, and follow the signs for Nowra. Turn right on the Illawarra Hwy, and follow the signs for the park.

If you are coming from the south, follow the highway to Kiama and take the Jamberoo exit. Head to the Jamberoo township, turn right at the end of the roundabout at the end of town, then the park is on the left.

Where are we going today?

Jamberoo - where you control the action! And they're right - you do! In Jamberoo Action Park you can go and have any adventure you want!

Fancy getting DRENCHED!? Then get started on all the waterpark rides they have waiting for you.

If you're a bit of a thrill seeker, you might want to get bitten by the Funnel Web! (Not the real spider of course, it's just a ride, but perhaps just as scary!)

The Funnel Web sends you on a heart stopping 30km/hour ride that will twist you and turn you in complete darkness, where you will experience multiple zero gravity moments! You and three friends will then plunge right into the funnel web itself, before splashing out into the landing pool.

You must be at least 1.2m to ride this ride - and for good reason!

Experience an 18m drop on a wave-like speed slide with Surf Hill, catch a wave in Outback Bay which is just like being at the beach, or try the 5m high launching pad into deep water. Not for the faint hearted! (Although there is a 3m jump if you want to start small!)

The little ones won't feel left out because there is plenty to do for them.

Billabong Beach is specially themed just for the young children, with shallow pools and mini water slides, and Mushroom Pool is a bright and colourful areas where they can play and hide under the giant mushrooms!

Need to dry off? Then enjoy the bobsleds, a few rounds of golf or soar over the park in a super fun chair lift!

Jamberoo want families to experience an all day adventure, so you can bring your own picnics, or rent BBQs from the park.

A popular family day out, and when you go you might just see why!

Jamberoo is certainly one of the most popular destinations for NSW students to visit! They have ABC packages, and one day a year which is Primary School only day!.

I'm Hungry!

Feel free to bring your own picnic, and you can even rent BBQs which are coin operated. Gas BBQs are also available to hire all day.

If you don't want to bring your own food, there are a number of food outlets in the park including a tasty burger bar, seafood, snacks, ice creams, and a BBQ hut! .

Any Top Tips?

Lockers are located all over the park and available in a variety of sizes to rent.

Any sort of floatation device (like lilos and rubber rings) are not permitted in the park..

Need a little extra help?

All of the rides have disabled access and all walkways and locations in the park are supported by ramps. .

Can I get one of those?

Head to the Surf Shack shop where you can grab all the latest in swimwear and surf gear. The Souvenir Shop can get you everything from toiletries, sunscreen, camera accessories, googles and Jamberoo merchandise!

If you have had your pic snapped by one of the roving photographers, head to the Photo Booth to get a copy!.

I was amazed how many families come here with a full set up: esky, chairs, gazebos and really make use of the bbqs.

The rides were OK. The setup of the taipan is so much better than the funnel web. The taipan actually has two slides so can send twice the amount of people down at once. Funnel web had a constant queue which was far linger than the actual ride.

I went with a 2 year old and I was impressed how many things he could play on with supervision.

I defiantly controlled the action and will be back.

Jambaroo is a great park with some thrilling attractions like The Taipan and Funnel Web, generally no longer than 10 minutes wait for anything. Great Wave Pool and Bobseld as well as sandy beach (Part of which is submerged during a waves session) as well as a great shady park and picnic tables as well as barbecues. You should bring your own food as options are limited and is overpriced.

(SAD EXPERIENCE) Disabled friendly i dont think so, Got a yearly pass to take my 13 year old son to have some fun in his life. Guess what on this ride you cant double ride as its dangerous. We take every precaution to make sure he is safe and the staff manager said if other patrons see you double riding then they will want to. Good answer maybe those people can also help me lift him in and out of our van as they watch and can see me doing that too. No we just look after people who want to come here and do all sorts of dangerous things wake up.
