Hervey Bay is just 3 hours drive from Brisbane, Queenslands Capital City.

Head north on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then take the exit to Hervey Bay.

You will travel on the main highway past the Sunshine Coast, through Gympie, famous for gold mining, to Maryborough, Heritage City.

Hervey Bay is 35 minutes from Maryborough.

Where are we going today?

Whale Watching at Hervey Bay begins with an award winning aquatic eco-vehicle which also accommodates wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The special vessel allows extra close visitation with the wild whales, a charming experience for chidlren particularly, running in single am and pm sessions daily and lasting approximately 4 hours.

Whale sightings are actually guaranteed.

We have not recommended this for toddlers because of the duration of the voyage: however if you feel they would nap on board it is suitable for all..

    Right across the road from the beach, had a great pool and friendly managers - not like that other place down the road.
