Where are we going today?

Love that feeling of speed and wind in your hair as you hit the racetrack? Of course you do!

And what better way to experience it than through Hervey Bay Go Kart Track!

Go karts are always great fun, whether you're 2 years old or 80 years old!

This particular track run 12 singles and up to 6 tandems on the track at any one time, so you can race all your friends and family and nobody misses out!

The karts can reach a top speed of about 55-60kph, so you know you are in for a fun time! Double up karts can carry passengers from 2 years old, and drivers can start from 9 years so you don't need to have a valid license, and they are perfectly safe!

All of the karts are equipped with seat belts and roll bars (Don't stress, it's just a precaution!) to ensure your safety and everybody is required to wear an Australian Standard Approved helmet and enclosed shoes. Safety is of course their top priority!

They supply the helmets and have shoes for you to borrow free of charge if you forget your own. If you wish to bring your own helmet, make sure it's Australian Standard Approved because if it isn't, they won't allow you to use it. (See, we said safety was a top priority!)

Not enough with just karts? Of course not!  Their terrific 120 metre long waterslide is just PERFECT for those hot weekends throughout Summer. It's suitable for people of all ages, newborns and toddlers can ride on mum or dads lap and grandma and granddad will love it, too. If you're going to come along and have a go, just remember to bring appropriate swimwear with no buckles or buttons that might scratch the slide, wear sunscreen and bring your mates!

Any Top Tips?

The waterslide is on the highway side of the track, running down the hill and leads straight to the bottom pool, which is always supervised, as well watched by responsible staff and lifeguards, but if you're not confident with the little ones going alone, it's probably best to either go along with them, or just in front of them so you can catch them at the end..
