Where are we going today?

The WA Gould League Manages the Herdsman Lake Wildlife Centre within the Herdsman Lake Regional Park. Situated on the edge of Herdsman Lake. Family suitable activities include bird walks, information nights, night stalks and wildlife excursions.

There are living and static displays of ecology, an observation deck and a raised viewing boardwalk plus an activities room.

In the surrounding parkland there are playground facilities, a wildlife viewing centre, the lake, grassed parklands, and kilometres of walking and cycling tracks.

    Lake Monger Recreation Centre, situated next to the Herdsman Lake Wildlife Centre, is the home of La Maison De France (MDF), one of Western Australia's premiere petanque clubs. At MDF, players from all ages can enjoy the beautiful views of Herdsman Lake, in a friendly social environment, as they strive to outdo their opponents in this classic French game of boules.
