Where are we going today?

Love to climb? We don't mean up trees or on playgrounds. We mean CLIMB!

Hangdog Climbing Gym is an indoor rock climbing center that also runs incredibly fun outdoor courses - that's what all your practice builds up towards!

Indoor climbing is a great start for beginners who want to get a feel for the rocks, the techniques, the possible routes that you will experience outdoors.

It's a safe, controlled environment where you can safely and securely get to grips (literally!) with the climb.

Learn the basics of climbing, with how to tie the ropes, and how to safely belay your partner.  They also have bouldering walls which are a great start, and low to the ground, so you don't need to worry about not looking down!

Feeling a little adventurous and want to ROCK climb? Of course you are!

The center run regular outdoor guided climbing days in Wollongong and Nowra, where you can rock climb and abseil (always handy to know how you're going to get back down!)

These are geared for complete beginners (if you want to just jump in there and bypass the indoor climbing), or those who have tackled the indoors and want to move onto real rock.  This makes is perfect for young kids (and parents - you know you want to!) who want to give it a try.

The guides are completely supportive, and will teach you with patience, and ensure you are moving at your own pace and level. They will provide you with all the safety equipment and instructions, so just bring your snacks, water, suncream, and your sense of adventure!

The center also offer birthday parties for different age ranges, so if you fancy celebrating with a bit of a climb and a heap of fun, then have a look at their packages!
