The Australian Outback is a magical place. The traditions and cultures are one of a kind. The landscape is breathtaking and of course, the lack of light pollution make it one of the most incredible places in the world to view the night sky!

Lucky for you, the Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre lets you explore all of those elements for your memorable family day out!

They offer a number of tours for you so you can experience this breathtaking part of the country! The Astronomy Tour gives you one hour of star gazing at the moon, planets, and anything you might be lucky enough to spot! Don't forget to make a wish on those shooting stars!

If you are a family who are completely in love with the concept of the cosmos, you can book a private 90 minute astronomy tour with your own personal star guide. A great way for kids to really learn and ask questions about the universe and the cosmos. 

Feeling hungry? Why not pick the 2 hour evening Spirit Of The Outback dinner and show tour? This award winning experience welcomes families just like yours to the Outback where you can learn all about the culture and of course astronomy as you indulge in a 3 course gourmet BBQ dinner!

For something a bit more low key you can enjoy a 2 hour day tour where you get to make damper (tasty!), enjoy scones and quandong jam, and try traditional bus tucker grub like local dukkah and bush tomato.

And finally, why not let the kids experience a Quandong Homestead Dinner. Enjoy this restored Outback Restaurant with Bush Oven Cuisine. 

Earth Sanctuary World Nature Centre strikes to educate about eco tourism, and of course practice and develop a sustainable way of living. All experiences follow the guidelines for eco-tourism so you will be learning from the environment, but not destroying it.

They are an incredible area that grow their own organic vegetables, and reduce carbon miles as they utilise renewable energy solutions.  Amazing!

Teachers corner

They offer a number of educational tours for kids, ranging from astronomy, sustainability, horticulture and growing organic foods...a great learning experience for kids .

I'm Hungry!

Some of the tours come with food, and these (the Friday nights BBQ buffet and the Taste of the Outback lunch) are held at the Quandong Restaurant. Tasty!.

The tour cost includes a courtesy bus pick up and an experienced guide. .
