Where are we going today?

Get ready to be bowled over! The Dunn Lewis Centre has that classic family friendly tenpin bowling.

It's such a great family sport.  Working together as a team, or competing (friendly of course!) against each other to see who can score the most points. And everyone after that elusive strike!

They have 12 fun and colourful lanes that are open 7 days a week where you can pop down and grab a game or two!

The more games you buy the more you practice for that strike! Usually with bowling, one game just isn't enough because you get the taste for it and think "I know what to do better next time!"  And that's part of why it's such a great game, because you can see yourself improving.

For those little kids who are just starting out or who need that little extra bit of confidence, they have gutter guards, ramps and lighter balls which they will be able to pick up and roll more easily. This way they can feel like they are keeping up with the bigger kids in the family.

Birthday parties are hugely popular here, and a great place for your child and all their friends to enjoy some games with each other, as well as tucking in to the tasty food prepared. Wouldn't it be great if you got a strike on your big day!

If you find anyone in the family has taken a real shine to bowling, they have bowling leagues they can join to get those regular games in - it might even lead to a championship!

During school holidays, it's not just about bowling either! The lounge area hold art and crafts activities throughout the day for kids to have that break before their next fun game. It's also a place where you can grab refreshments to keep you going through your family "tournament"!

Enjoy!

Spent the Christmas break in the area and took the kids bowling. Was under staffed for that time of the year. There was one person trying to look after front counter, doing the cooking, answering phone doing repairs and taking bookings Although this person did it all with a smile on her face she was definitely under the pump. There was long waits at front counter and kiosk and there was many break downs and we were moved on two occasions as our lane kept playing up. There was another lady there although not in uniform was behind the food counter but made herself a coffee and walked away although there was cues in both sections. Not a good look. But well done to the dark haired lady in her 40's maybe for taking it all in her stride. Not sure if i would return again that time of the year though.
