What a lovely place! Great food (for me) great play (for the twins) while their mum is running around (seems like she loves it) I'm enjoying some great coffee and burger. Will defiantly come again!

Celebrated Kush's birthday on Saturday. Staff were professional, friendly, flexible and managed the event perfectly. Really couldn't ask for better. Not once did we have to chase the staff - they were always there chasing us - which is brilliant as we were clueless as we had never held a party outside our own house.

Food: A wide choice - they give you a lot!

There was a problem on the A406, so the staff had called all the party bookers to advise them about it.

They gave us half an hour extra.

The most DISGRACEFUL place to take any CHILD.
The receptionist came running to our table to STOP us singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our 8 yr old daughter. The most UNFRIENDLY PLACE EVER.
One member of staff was very kind, during this awful experience.

My wife tried to book a party for 20 children and 6 adults, all with food and was told there was no availability.

When we arrived, there was one other group there, the two party booths were empty and were not used at all. There were 7 staff not doing very much (considering the place was so empty and not...Read More

Went to a party of a little girl whose parents are good friends. Given you had to pay to get in (not insubstantial at about 7-8 per kid and adults had to pay too), you were presented with multiple electronic arcade type rides which all took yet more money.
Given the amount of money being spent, the staff were horrible, rude and as disinterested as MacDonalsds workers.
We tried to join a party late, and were told to "wait until all the paying kids were in", even though we paid as well! When I said we were in a hurry to make it, we were told, it was...Read More

I'm shocked at peoples attitudes and those backing Dougherty. Like it or not places like Clowntown have policies in place for a reason and these people ignored them trying to run their own show. Guess what, you didn't get away with it. I have been visiting Clowntown for years and everyone I know loves it there. Food is great, staff are very nice and it is the best place to celebrate a birthday party. It's time you people stop with your lies. Anyone who visits Clowntown will agree.

Other parents who have held parties/attended a lot of parties commented how good the staff and facilities were compared to a lot of the places they had attended.

We are a fussy lot - so not coming up with a single negative speaks volumes!

Would I book again? In a heartbeat - although need to wait a year!

The nice member of staff came over to our friend and said the receptionist was annoyed and we were not to sing happy birthday, or produce a cake, (is there some kind of mental problem, going on here)?

I told the receptionist to go away from my children, at which point she told me she would phone the POLICE.

I have been here on at least 4 different occasions, over the years, (having 6 children) and it is my belief, you would have to be mental to give Clown Town any of you hard earned money, (I spent £300) let alone let them play in this shabby, unhygienic place.

Beware, don't give them your custom.

When I said we were in a hurry to make it, we were told, it was not their problem and given filthy stares. I decided, at that point to ask for the manager, who acted like he was doing me a favour by taking my money.
Please don't go there, send a message that badly run places like this, which count on parents not wanting to cause a scene infront of their kids and ruin their days, will pay for rude staff, shoddy equipment and a poor level of service.
