Look out for flying objects (birds, fruit and nuts). This is a nice place for the family to go and visit. Let the birds come to you (unless you have food for them), some of them are quite cheeky. There is a good range of bird species including a cassuary.

We loved it! Definitely buy a bag of food from the front counter, then go inside and hold your arms out with some food in the palm of your hand – instant bird attraction! There was a nice selection of birds of all shapes and sizes, and most of them were keen to sit on your hand and eat from it, making for lots of great photos. Watch out for the big blue birds though, they really will seek out absolutely anything shiny or in your hair! Lots of fun, we had a great time and would highly recommend it!

We have been to BirdWorld many times, as locals we always take out of town guests. The last 2 times we have gone we have had very poor service from a lady at the front (I believe she has a Irish accent) She seems not to enjoy her job and should probably move on. Other than that we absolutely LOVE Birdworld, it is really a treat.
