The Australian Garden is home to a host of children’s activities, including The Kids’ Backyard play space with lots to explore including the Hortasaurus; and The Desert Discovery Camp where kids can dig in the sand, explore the fossils and footprints and discover what is hidden in the sands of central Australia. Plus wading in the Rockpool Waterway is permitted between the flags.
There are also several walking trails of varying length, a bike trail, and a designated woodland picnic area. See 170,000 plants representing more than 850 different plant varieties as you travel around.
