Located in Tamworth - the country music capital of Australia - is this great museum perfect for those families and kids who love to boogie on down to come country music now and again.

The museum is filled with exhibits that display artefacts that belong to popular Australian country music artists, both past and present.

The artefacts really let you in on the professional and personal lives of these iconic artists. The items range from stage clothing, to posters and photos of them, instruments they once played, and even personal items belonging to them.

The early country music pioneers are featured, so you can even throw in a history lesson for the family during your time at the museum!

Smoky Dawson, June Holms...all artists that paved the way for what we know today. 

Occasionally, the museum have special visitors and activities too, so keep an eye out so you don't miss out!

During the January Country Music Festival and July Hats Off festival, the museum is open 7 days with extended hours. .

There aren't any steps and the museum is fully wheelchair accessible. There are accessible toilets as well as a parking space. .
