Where are we going today?

The Audley Boatshed is the perfect family day out for all of those active families, who love getting out, enjoying new adventures, and just having a great time together!

Here, just 30km south of Sydney's CBD, you can visit this historic boatshed, that was established in 1893. Amazing!

It's here you can take to the waters, and explore the beauty of Kangaroo Creek, or the Hacking River. It's a day of relaxing, and wildlife, and taking in the incredible views!

The best way to enjoy the waters is by canoe or kayak, or even row boat. All of these are available at the Audley Boatshed to rent, so just arrive, and decide what you fancy!

For those families who don't particularly want to get onto the water, don't worry! You can pick mountain biking as an option - definitely for the more adventurous families! Lady Carrington Drive is a 20km return trip, so just take your time, head on through the magical rain forest, and explore the lush bushland, and try and spot those amazing species of birds along the way!

The more adventurous can try an Aqua Bike (think inflatable Big Wheel) too - so many options!

Rental is either hourly or by the half or full day nicely allowing you to tailor your hire to exactly what you want.

So what are you waiting for! There are so many adventures waiting for those families who love nature, and a lot of memories waiting to be created!

So let's go!

The bikes they have for hire are pieces of junk! From their condition and the range I guess they probably got them from a council clean-up day. The bike I got had wobbly wheels, broken pedals, crooked handlebars, limited braking and was full of rust.

I thought about telling the owners that renting bikes in such a bad state will result in them hurting someone - but I figured they were to stupid to take up the advice.

Sure its only $10 per hour to hire them, but when you think of it - you can hire a registered, roadworthy car for $60 a day....
